About 1000 Bulgarian and foreign tourists took part in the free of charge pedestrian tour in Plovdiv, according to the Tourist Information Centres data. The tour has been organized since September 2010.
The free of charge city’s tour takes place every Wednesday in spite of the small groups during the winter season.
The tour guide tells the stories of the tourist sites in Bulgarian and English language. There can participate tourist groups as well as individual tourists in the pedestrian tour.
The pedestrian tour, which has started in the end of September, has been advertised on local and international tourist fairs.
The tour starts every Wednesday at 9:30 am from the Tourist Information Center and proceeds to the Old Plovdiv.
Tourists have the opportunity to see the Antique Stadium and other cultural-historic sites.
