Second Museum Night in Plovdiv

Plovdiv organizes a “Museum Night”, dedicated to the art, on 02 October for a fifth year in a row. The program is planned according to the ideas of all participants – 47 museums, galleries, clubs and town’s sites.
This year 32 galleries and museums will open doors. Many of them present international projects and artworks of foreign artists, as well as a Bulgarian sight over closer and distant sites.
The initiatives are concentrated in the Ethnographic museum with the exposition “The Bulgarian Renaissance” in the house museum “Atanas Krastev – Nacho the Culture” in the gallery “Chervenoto Proni”, Art gallery museum – Philipopolis, the Town’s Art Gallery and many others.

Special accents will be “Without frontiers” – a multimedia spectacle, the exhibition from Irland by Ivo Hadjimishev, artworks by a painter from Nigeria and “The Unification of Bulgaria”, with photos from the Plovdiv museum.
