Farming Exhibition Agra opens in Plovdiv

The 18th edition of the International Farming Exhibition Agra opened in Plovdiv, the second-biggest town in Bulgaria. The forum was inaugurated by Agriculture and Food Minister Valeri Tsvetanov. A total of 851 companies from 37 nations will participate in the exhibition. This is the first time that the European Commission will join the exhibition with a separate stand. Experts from the Directorates General for “Health and Consumers’ Protection” and “Agriculture and Rural Development” will inform visitors to the exhibition on EU policy in the sector, opportunities for applying for EU funds, the current standards and requirements about the quality of the products.
